Before taking the Photoshop Certification Exams,
read this!Over the past month, we’ve received early reports from teachers whose students tested on the new Photoshop and Illustrator 2025 exams. These exams launched with a significantly higher level of complexity compared to previous years. While our courses were released alongside the exam updates, some of this new difficulty could only be fully understood once teachers began reporting.
As soon as we recognized the gap, our entire team shifted focus to strengthening the course. We’ve already released new practice materials, reinforcement activities, and updated resources—and more are on the way.
For teachers who need a smoother testing path right now:
Our 2025 courses also fully align with the 2023 Certiport Exams. If it helps your classroom, students can take the 2023 exam version instead while we continue enhancing the course for the 2025 exam level. If you have any questions about vouchers, your Certiport rep can assist you.
We acknowledge that this situation has created challenges for you and your students, and we sincerely apologize for this. If you have any questions or need clarification, please feel free to reach out. We are here to support you however we can.

Following up on our recent
BrainBuffet update, we’ve received a few questions from teachers interested in having their students test
earlier in Photoshop and whether they should have their students take the
2023 Photoshop certification exam instead. Our education team has confirmed that the
current Photoshop 2025 Course aligns with the 2023 and 2024 exams ✅If you decide to have your students take the ACP 2023 and 2024 exams, we suggest having them complete a few extra steps first to ensure they feel fully prepared:
1️⃣ Watch the following videos from our Photoshop 2023 Course to strengthen exam readiness:
- Project 1 – all videos
- Topics: 2.08, 4.01, 4.02, 5.13, 7.01, 7.02, and 7.10
These lessons reinforce a few Objective Domains covered in the 2023 and 2024 Photoshop exams that we do not cover in the 2025 Course.
2️⃣ Take the GMetrix practice test to review key concepts and build confidence before the official exam.
