Photoshop Certification Update
What Teachers Need to Know Right Now

We are actively working on continued improvements to the Photoshop 2025 course, including new workbook activities and targeted updates to select modules based on feedback from teachers and classroom performance data.
Our goal is to keep strengthening the course experience while supporting student success on certification exams.
Why This Update Exists
At BrainBuffet, we are committed to keeping our certification pathways clear, current, and aligned with the latest exam standards. As certification exams and industry tools evolve, periodic course updates are a normal and important part of ensuring students are learning the most relevant skills. The Photoshop 2025 Course has been updated to better reflect the knowledge students are expected to demonstrate on the exam, with expanded practice, reinforcement activities, and additional review resources to strengthen confidence and improve readiness.
What Should You Do Based on Your Testing Timeline?
If you plan to test your students soon, we recommend the following:

Timed Quiz on the BrainBuffet Platform
After completing the Module 8 assessment at the end of the course, students will find a timed quiz in the menu titled:

Flashcards Included
In the same tab, you’ll also find flashcards with a vocabulary list covered throughout the course.
Flashcards are a great way to reinforce key terms and concepts because they encourage active recall, help students retain information longer, and make reviewing more interactive and efficient.

Inside the teacher’s PDF, we also include a link to a Kahoot quiz with the same questions. You can print and use the PDF review if you want, but we strongly recommend using the Kahoot whenever possible, as it is self-graded, interactive, and keeps students more engaged.
If You Prefer the 2023 or 2024 Exam
While the Photoshop 2025 Course provides strong foundational preparation for both the 2023 and 2024 certification exams, students taking one of these earlier exam versions should also watch the recommended supplemental videos from our Photoshop 2023 Course. These additional videos cover version-specific exam objectives not fully addressed in the 2025 course and are strongly recommended for complete exam preparation.
