Artificial Intelligence is no longer a futuristic idea — it’s already part of our schools. This practical session is designed to move past the headlines and help you understand what AI really is and how to use it responsibly in your teaching.
We’ll focus on using AI as a tool to support teachers — not replace them.
In this session, you’ll explore what large language models are in plain language, how to spot inaccurate or biased AI responses before they reach students, and how to think through the ethical side of using AI for both student work and lesson planning. You’ll also take part in a short, interactive activity where we look at live AI examples and share questions, concerns, and ideas in a safe, collaborative space.
We’d love to have you join us and start building your AI literacy with other educators!
