Next, let's have some fun exploring brands. Branding is a way to create a distinct identity for your club, school, or organization by using consistent colors, fonts, and logos. Let's actually start by exploring this new feature QR code. Let's generate a QR code for our club or our classroom or our school. Go ahead and click on Generate QR code.

Next we're going to need a URL from our website to generate our QR code. Go to a browser and find maybe your school district or your school or your club's website. Go ahead and copy that URL and come back to Exprs. And then we'll paste it into our box here you can pick a color, so I'm going to go with red or blue. And then you can choose whether you want dots or squares. Next you can generate the QR code. Once you've generated the QR code, you can choose which file type you want to download. I'm going to go ahead and do PNG. I'm going to hit download and thank you very much, it's been downloaded.

Now let's go to our brands and we will create a brand for our club, organization, school, or whatever you want. So we're going to go to create a brand and earlier we created a logo. So hit upload your logo and it should be in your downloads folder. So here's my downloads folder and here's my logo. Next we're going to choose our colors. And when you click on pick color, obviously it found the color from my logo, which is awesome. So I can go ahead and click that and hit Save. Now I wanted to show you something else that's really, really cool.

Adobe has an awesome color website and all you have to do is Google Adobe color and it's going to be the first search box that comes up. Now within here, you can choose different color schemes. Like I like complementary color schemes because it allows me to really get great contrast. Another option you can do is extract theme. So you can drag and drop a file from your computer on there. Let's say this beautiful illustration and I can get my colors from that photograph. You can even drag those colors around and pick your own colors. You can also go to the Explore tab and see what other people have been doing and look at trends. Now what I wanted to show you, let's say I really like this color scheme right here.

I'm going to click on it and then I want to use this color in my brand. All I have to do is click on it. It automatically copies what we call the hex code. And when I go back to Exprs, if I click on this pencil, I can type in or paste that hex code right there and it's going to save that color into my brand. Next we're going to click on choose your font and you can scroll down and look through these different options. If you have a specific font that you've downloaded on your computer, you can click on this and upload a specific font. Then you're going to hit Next and you're going to give it a name and then hit Create My Brand. Once you have your brand created, you can go back to the Brands tab and click on Invite and invite somebody from your organization or copy a link and share it with somebody.

Now you're probably asking yourself, why did we generate that QR code when we didn't use it? And here's why. Once you've generated your brand, you can continue to manage it. So go ahead and click on Brands again and let's go back into our brand that we just set up. Once you have it set up, you'll see your three major areas here your logo, your colors, and your fonts, and you can add more. So if we click on the plus symbol here and then the plus symbol for logos, we can go grab that QR code that we generated. You can see you can continue to add additional logos. You're going to add additional colors.

So if I click on the plus symbol and hit this. Now if you have text number, you can simply paste it in here and then hit Save. And now we'll have that exact same color from our logo in our colors. And finally you can add additional fonts. Once you've got your brand all set up, you can scroll down here and really apply what you've been working on with the themes. Later, when you're working with a web page design or a video presentation, you're going to be able to apply a theme.

And if you click on this plus symbol, you can go in and fine tune each element of a theme. I can change the background color. I can change the title, change colors. You can change how heading one looks. You can change how your buttons are going to look. So you really have a lot of control over how your brand affects your theme. Now, before you finish and close, make sure to click on Light and give it a name, then hit Done. So have fun making a brand.
