Next, let's explore managing the slides in a video presentation. And let's do it in a rapid prototyping technique so that you can get the concepts down. And then later you'll fine tune exactly how you want yours to look. The first thing I want you to do is explore this button on the far left. This allows you to add blank slides. So let's click four slides or click it three times so that we have a total of four blank slides.

Next, let's go to the first slide and you can see we're in full screen mode here. And if we click the plus symbol, we can add text or an icon. I'm going to go ahead and add some text and let's just put our name. Next, let's click on the next slide down and we'll try this split screen layout. So on the split screen layout you can have something on both sides. Let's add some text on one side. How about we do pets. And over here on the right we'll add an icon and type in type of pet like a dog or a cat.

On the next slide, let's try the caption, see what that looks like. So I can add an icon. Let's do an icon here. And I'm going to say disc golf. Disc golf because that's one of my hobbies golf. And I'll grab this basket here. And down here I can add text. Disc golf. So that's what caption looks like. So you can caption either a picture or an icon or video clip. And then the last one, let's try title and text. So on this one I'm going to put my profession, teacher. And down here I teach digital media. Digital media. And I can still add a photo or video behind this. So those are the four different layouts. You've now explored those and created a quick prototype of those.

Next, let's talk about managing the slides down here. You can at any time rearrange these and it's super easy. Let's say I want Teacher to be the second one because I'm introducing myself and then my profession, so you can just drag and drop very easily. So try that out. You can also let's say I really like this split layout and I want another one of those. If you click on the three dots here, you can either delete a slide if you didn't want it, you can duplicate it, or you can play from here. I'm going to go ahead and duplicate it and then maybe I'll slide it over here. And let's say I have a cat as well. So instead of a dog, I'll put a cat. And there's my cat.

So you can see it's super easy to manage rearrange. And when you want to play the entire video, you can come down here and click on this little arrow and it'll play back the video with the music and your voiceover if you've recorded it. Talk about that in a minute. You want to play from a specific slide. Again, you can click on the three little dots and play from here. Just test out how that's going to look. And you can see there's a little bit of animation in these slides. Like the little icon comes sliding on and off, so it'll definitely add a really engaging, visually interesting image.

The last thing I wanted to talk about when you're managing your slides down here is your theme. You'll notice that I have a red theme with a specific font. If we come up here to the upper right hand corner and click on Themes, you can see these are my brands. So if you've set up a brand earlier, you can switch to that and it'll change the color scheme and the fonts and a bunch of other features. You can also select from one of the Adobe themes. When you click on one, you can change the font, but you can also change the color. Play around with that and see if you can find one that looks good to you.
