To get started making a video presentation, click on the big purple plus symbol here and slide down to video. The first thing you're going to have to do is give it a title. Let's call it Get to Know Me and then hit next. Adobe gives you the option to either start from scratch this big purple button at the bottom, or choose one of these story starters. And there is two pages of story starters. What is a story starter? Well, let me show you. Here's one that I started with a story starter, and you can see that it pre populates these slides down here and each one has a title down here on the slide. And then it has a short description of what you might want to include on that slide, both for your audio that you record and the images, text, or icons that you might include as media. I recommend that you start by planning out your videos. So what I've done is I've created these story starter templates so that you know exactly what those story starters are and you can write up a quick little script. I recommend that if you get over two sentences here on your script that you break that into a couple slides. This is where you can brainstorm an idea for the media. Maybe it's going to be a photo, a video clip, or some icons. And then here's where you can include text that you might want to put on the page. I recommend keeping that as slim as possible. In fact, I limit mine to a maximum of three words for this project getting to Know Me. I'm going to include this template and feel free to use this to plan out your project. Now that I've showed you what a story starter looks like, let's start from scratch. Once you start from scratch, it'll take a second to load and it'll pre populate your project with a couple slides. We've got a blank slide here at the beginning. We've got some credits, and we've got an outro. This outro is based on your theme. And if I click on my theme over here, you can see I have my high school's theme and that's why I have my high school's logo. And I can change this website right here. The other thing you'll notice when I go to my first slide is that because I'm using this specific brand, it's putting here a stamp with the brand name. All you have to do to get rid of that is click on it, come up here to show stamp, and deselect that. In the next lesson, we'll talk about how to manage these slides down here.
