The FSU College of Motion Picture Arts and the Digital Domain Institute (DDI) are holding an open information session for high school students, incoming college freshman and transfer students to learn about a new program for digital artists that will be offered here in West Palm Beach. The program offers a unique opportunity for students to pursue a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Animation and Digital Arts from The Florida State University while receiving industry-level professional certification from the Digital Domain Institute. Through this unique collaboration, students will develop the creative and technical skills needed to become the filmmakers and digital storytellers of the future.
This innovative new program launches Fall 2012 and they are now accepting applications for both incoming freshman and transfer students. Applications deadline is January 18, 2012.
Stop by any time between 3-7 PM to learn more about this new initiative. Faculty and staff will be available from both FSU and DDI to talk with students about the program and answer questions.
The event, which is free and open to the public, takes place Monday, December 5th from 3:00 PM– 7:00 PM at City Place Muvico, 545 Hibiscus Street, West Palm Beach.
