Getting Started

Hey gang! Today we prep for getting started. We need to make sure we’re all on the same page when it comes to the rules, regulations, policies and expectations for the lab this year. Today, you’ll be looking at THIS PAGE (you can also get there by the “students” link in the menu) to get all the details about the lab and how it runs. Start at the top, read every word, and if the words are links, click it and watch the videos. If the link takes you to a gallery of pictures, look at EVERY PICTURE. That’s student work. Why am I having you look at other student work from other schools? Because that’s the level of art I expect you to be generating in this class. We won’t settle for less.

  1. I’m glad you guys are all here… Just wait until you make one yourself. There’s nothing more rewarding than doing something you couldn’t do before and then say “Holy smokes. I’m GOOD.” 🙂

  2. Yeah. There are. But if you’re developing your art and just having fun with the projects, you’ll never even notice. What’s under the water in Halo? Who cares, right??? That’s because the action is on the surface.
